Sol Sonidos is the label of Analog Sol, an Australian-born artist based in the Spanish Pyrenees. The sound is deep, hypnotic techno with warmth and soul: rolling grooves, chord stabs and a subtle melodic thread running underneath, never hard or harsh.

Earlier releases leaned towards melodic techno, with hints of Afro house and a bit of 80s retro colour. The new music goes deeper, but the warm analog feel carries through. Whatever the source of the sounds, they come out warm, like late afternoon sun.

Analog Sol performs fully live and improvised on hardware. His music has been supported by Solomun, Steve Bug, Tim Green, Nic Fanciulli, Black Coffee, Pete Tong.
